Ollantaytambo , which is located about 90 km northwest of the city of Cusco and has a height of 2,792 meters above sea level. Ollantaytambo is one of the most monumental architectural complexes of the ancient Inca empire, called “Fortress” because of its enormous walls. It was a Tambo or city – lodging, strategically located to dominate the Sacred Valley of the Incas. It is the only Inca city in Peru that is still inhabited.
La Llaqta de Machupicchu, (Machupicchu Archaeological Center), is a natural and cultural area inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List . It houses more than sixty archaeological monuments linked by a complex network of Inca trails. It was planned and built around the year 1400 AD. The work required the participation of specialists in architecture, engineering and astronomy, in addition to a large amount of labor. It represents a masterpiece of art, architecture and engineering in perfect harmony with nature and is the most important legacy of the Inca civilization to humanity.
Early in the morning our Guide will pick you up from your hotel to transfer you to the Inca House located in the town of Chinchero where you will be able to appreciate the textiles of the Inca era, on the way you will be able to observe amazing landscapes of the snowy peaks of the Andes Salkantay, Veronica and Soray; until you reach the Ollantaytambo station where you will board the train to the town of Aguas Caliente. You will be able to observe the beginning of the Inca trail and the Amazon jungle, upon arrival in Aguas Calientes our guide will direct you to your Hotel to later enjoy a delicious lunch in one of the best restaurants in the place, in the afternoon you will have free time to Tour the town of Aguas Calientes (Machupicchu Pueblo).
At night our Guide will explain the itinerary to visit the Archaeological Center of Machupicchu.

To enjoy the beautiful sunrise and sunrise in Machupicchu, we will start very early, boarding the first buses with a 30-minute journey to reach the Archaeological Center.
You will be able to learn about the Inca Engineering and Architecture of the IVX century where our ancestors buttressed the mountain, using retaining walls in pirca-style construction (mud mortar), which was how they were able to build the enigmatic citadel of Machupicchu.
At the end of the tour you will return to the town of Aguas Calientes to board the return train to the Ollanta station and then you will be transferred to your hotel in Cusco.
