Welcome and pick up from the airport or bus station in Cusco to transfer you to your hotel. We will visit the magical city of Cusco and the Inca buildings that surround the city, starting at the Cathedral, then we will visit the Qorikancha; this wonderful temple is considered sacred since it harbored Inca priests in charge of worshiping the Sun God. We will continue our guided tour of the archaeological centers located around the city of Cusco, starting with Sacsayhuaman, Qenqo, Puka Pukara and finally Tambomachay. Night in Cusco.
We will pick you up from your hotel at 8:00 a.m. to tour the Sacred Valley. The first place we will visit is the town of Pisac, one of the most traditional in Cusco, famous for its crafts, where we will also visit the archaeological center of the same name. At noon we will have lunch in Urubamba, that will allow you to enjoy the delicious Peruvian cuisine. Urubamba was one of the main agricultural centers of the Inca Empire. Currently, the best corn in the world is harvested here, then we will visit Ollantaytambo and we will end up in Chinchero town, which is known for its textiles, tinted with natural pigments. We will return to Cusco at approximately 6:30 p.m. Night in Cusco.
Very early we will pick you up from your hotel in Cusco and we will travel by car to Ollantaytambo. After boarding the train we will travel 2 hours approximately until we reach Machu Picchu. At the top of the mountains you will learn about its history and architecture and above all you will feel that impressive energy that only Machu Picchu gives you; after the visit we will return by bus to Aguas Calientes, we will have time to have lunch and in the afternoon we will board the return train to Ollantaytambo, where our staff will be waiting for you to take you to Cusco. Night in Cusco.
At the appropriate time, we transfer you to the airport for your departure flight, ending in this way our awesome Machu Picchu 4 day tour.
