Located northeast of the city of Cusco, in the province of Anta in the district of Mollepata, along the paved road Cusco Mollepata (2hrs. and 45 min.) tour where you can see picturesque local towns where time seems to have stopped. The trek will provide us with a spectacular day of adventure and a unique ecosystem, a trek considered moderate to challenging.
Our journey will begin very early in the morning, we will pick you up at the hotel where you are, and then make a tour of 2 hours and 45 minutes, in one of our private transports. Our transportation is very comfortable and cozy, where you can rest a little longer until you reach the beginning of our adventure. Unlike regular tours, we will go directly to Soraypampa, the starting point of the trek where we will first taste our Box Breakfast, and then enjoy the particular beauty of La Laguna Humantay just for us.
The trek begins in Soraypampa located at 3,800 masl Soraypampa is the first camping point in one of the most important treks in Cusco known as Salkantay 5d/4n. culminating in Machu Picchu. by the way considered one of the 15 most important walks in the world.
We will make the ascent through a winding road where the first 45 min will be calm because it will be slightly flat, then we will start with the slightly more difficult part of the road that is steep; This tour will be approximately one hour. Remember that if it seems too difficult you can find some facilities, such as renting a horse, and thus lighten the ascent. When we are at the highest point we will be able to appreciate in all its splendor the incomparable Humantay Lagoon where our experienced local guide will provide you with valuable information rich in Andean culture and traditions. And you will have enough time to take photos and explore the whole place.
Then we will begin the descent which will take us approximately one hour to go to the town of Mollepata where we will have lunch and then return to the city of Cusco.
